At\nthe end of the visit, his Excellency Dennis Hankins was visibly comforted by\nthe results, and left with a smile on his face.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>USTTB-NIH\nPartnership<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>30\nyears of partnership between NIH and Mali ( since 1989) with the creation of\nthe Malaria Research and Training Center since 1991, the HIV \/ TB program in\n2004 and the University Clinical Research Center in 2016, grouped within the\nInternational Center for Excellence in Research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\npurpose of this collaboration is to improve the infrastructure and resources\nneeded to facilitate clinical and biomedical research, the country&#8217;s first\nLevel 3 biosafety laboratory, which contributes to the diagnosis of Ebola virus\ndisease in Mali and Guinea .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\npurpose of this collaboration is to improve the infrastructure and resources\nneeded to facilitate the clinical and biomedical research of the country&#8217;s\nfirst Level 3 biosafety laboratory, which contributes to the diagnosis of Ebola\nvirus disease in Mali and Guinea .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ibrahima DIA, Communication\nOfficer<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>His Excellency Dennis Hankins, U.S Ambassador to Mali, was visiting the International Center for Excellence in Research (ICER-Mali).
