{"id":1954,"date":"2022-12-04T14:15:26","date_gmt":"2022-12-04T13:15:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ucrc-mali.org\/?p=1954"},"modified":"2022-12-04T14:37:36","modified_gmt":"2022-12-04T13:37:36","slug":"world-day-and-month-for-the-fight-against-hiv-aids-ucrc-in-the-spotlight","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ucrc-mali.com\/?p=1954","title":{"rendered":"World Day and Month for the fight against HIV\/AIDS: UCRC in the spotlight!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>On the occasion of the launch of World Day and the month for the fight against HIV\/AIDS in Mali, the SEREFO infectious diseases laboratory of the University Clinical Research Center (UCRC) received a visit from the Minister of Health and Development Social, Mrs Di\u00e9minatou Sangar\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She was accompanied by the executive secretary of the High National Council for the Fight against AIDS, Dr. Ichiaka Moumini Kon\u00e9, the Charg\u00e9 d\u2019Affaires p.i. of the United States Embassy in Mali, Mr. Brian Neubert, and representatives of NGOs fighting against HIV\/AIDS. AIDS. This choice of the UCRC is far from being fortuitous, because for several decades, its laboratory has been at the forefront of the fight against infectious diseases in the sub-region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After the guided tour of the various units of the laboratory, and the presentation of research achievements on HIV\/AIDS, the witnesses who followed one another on the pages of the golden book all highlighted the professional and human qualities of the UCRC workers, whose clinical research units command admiration, because they are equipped with the latest generation machines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-youtube wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"Journ\u00e9e mondiale et du mois de lutte contre le VIH\/SIDA : UCRC \u00e0 l\u2019honneur !\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/6xLNJtQMnQ8?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Journ\u00e9e\nmondiale et du mois de lutte contre le VIH\/SIDA&nbsp;: UCRC \u00e0 l\u2019honneur&nbsp;!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A l&#8217;occasion du lancement de la Journ\u00e9e mondiale et du\nmois de lutte contre le VIH\/SIDA au Mali, le laboratoire des maladies infectieuses SEREFO du\ncentre Universitaire de recherche Clinique (UCRC) a re\u00e7u la visite du Ministre\nde la Sant\u00e9 et du D\u00e9veloppement Social, Mme Di\u00e9minatou Sangar\u00e9. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Elle \u00e9tait accompagn\u00e9e du secr\u00e9taire ex\u00e9cutif du Haut Conseil\nNational de Lutte contre le Sida, Dr. Ichiaka Moumini Kon\u00e9, le Charg\u00e9\nd\u2019Affaires p.i. de Ambassade des Etats-Unis au Mali, M. Brian Neubert, et des\nrepr\u00e9sentants des ONG de lutte contre le sida. Ce choix port\u00e9 sur ladite structure de recherche de\nl\u2019Universit\u00e9 des Sciences des techniques et des Technologies de Bamako (USTTB) est loin\nd&#8217;\u00eatre fortuit, car depuis plusieurs d\u00e9cennies, son laboratoire est \u00e0 l&#8217;avant-garde\nde la lutte contre des maladies infectieuses, dans la sous-r\u00e9gion. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Apr\u00e8s la visite guid\u00e9e dans les diff\u00e9rentes unit\u00e9s du\nlaboratoire, et la pr\u00e9sentation des acquis de recherche sur le VIH\/Sida, les\nt\u00e9moins qui se sont succ\u00e9d\u00e9 sur les pages du libre d\u2019or, ont tous mis en\nexergue les qualit\u00e9s professionnelles et humaines des travailleurs de l\u2019UCRC,\ndont les unit\u00e9s de recherche clinique forcent l\u2019admiration, car sont \u00e9quip\u00e9es\ndes machines de derni\u00e8res g\u00e9n\u00e9rations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019UCRC-Mali est une initiative conjointe du Minist\u00e8re de la Sant\u00e9, du\nminist\u00e8re de l\u2019Enseignement Sup\u00e9rieur et de la Recherche Scientifique du Mali,\nde l\u2019Universit\u00e9 des Sciences, des Techniques et Technologies de Bamako (USTTB)\net des Instituts nationaux de la sant\u00e9 (NIH) des \u00c9tats-Unis \u00e0 travers\nl\u2019Institut National des allergies et des maladies infectieuses (NIAID).
